Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Lakshmi Sellerss, No 1/1, Sundar Nagar, 4th Cross Street, KK Nagar Main Road, Trichy, Tamil Nadu 620021, India ("we", "us"), and they cover your use of the Geocam mobile app ("the app"). By using the app you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
1. The app
The app takes photos and stamps them with the date, time, location, address and an optional map. The stamp uses information from your phone and from your phone's map service, such as GPS, the clock and an address lookup. That information can be inaccurate or unavailable. We do not guarantee that a stamp is accurate. Do not rely on stamped photos as proof where accuracy matters (for example legal, surveying, insurance or safety purposes) without checking them independently.
2. Your use
- You must be 18 or older to create an account.
- You are responsible for the photos you take, save and share. You must respect other people's privacy and the law where you take photos.
- Do not use the app to deceive anyone, for example by misrepresenting where or when a photo was taken. Do not tamper with the app, reverse-engineer it, or disrupt its services.
3. Account
An account is optional. Keep access to your email, Apple or Google account secure. You can delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
4. Premium subscriptions
- Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play to your store account. The price and billing period are shown before you buy.
- It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your store account settings. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- You can buy Premium without an account. Sign in if you want to keep it across devices, and use Restore purchases on a new device.
5. Ads
The free version shows ads, including ads from Google AdMob and our own promotions. Premium removes them.
6. Ownership
You own your photos. We own the app, its design and its content. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control. If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. Map data and attribution belong to their providers.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of photos or data. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law, including consumer protection law, does not allow us to limit.
8. Changes and ending
We may update the app or these terms. If we change the terms significantly, we will update the date above and tell you in the app. You can stop using the app at any time.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction. This does not take away any right you have to bring a claim in the courts where you live, or under the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
